MV Agusta BRUTALE R description
2012 Mv Agusta Brutale RR, BRAND NEW ON THE FLOOR! - Maximum performance without compromise, this is the creed of the new Brutale RR 1090. The Brutale RR 1090 is the most important addition to the Brutale 2012 line-up, it is an absolute missile capable of exceptional performance and a level of handling that makes all other naked bikes pale by comparison. The 1,078 cubic centimeter four-cylinder engine with radial intake and exhaust valves offers the highest power output ever by a Brutale. New camshafts, new intake tracts, new throttle bodies (same bore diameter as the F4) all contribute to the record power level of 116,5 kilowatts (158 horsepower) at 11.900 revolutions per minute. This engine is simply extraordinary and capable of satisfying even the most demanding rider thanks to the addition of the slipper clutch, new engine mapping and traction control with 8 levels of intervention. The chassis of the MV Agusta Brutale RR 1090 is worthy of an authentic superbike without fairings, the ultra-light CrMo steel tube chassis that is hand welded (TIG) with adjustable steering geometry that allows the rider to adapt the geometry to their personal needs. Logically, a superbike needs to have the best suspension available: Marzocchi 50 millimeter USD front forks with DLC coating and dedicated valving for the Brutale RR 1090 together with a Sachs single shock with high and low speed compression adjusters along with rebound and spring pre-load adjusters. Completing the high level of components are the brakes and wheels: Brembo monobloc front brake calipers (the same as on the hypersport F4RR) with 320 millimeter rotors as well as forged aluminum wheels that weight over one kilogram less that cast wheels and help reduce the unsprung mass.

MV Agusta Teases New Model – Is this the Turismo Leggero ADV?
Thu, 25 Sep 2014MV Agusta has released a new image enigmatically named “Worth Waiting” teasing a new motorcycle with wire-spoke wheels. The Italian manufacturer did not provide any other details, so we are left to ponder exactly what it is we’re waiting for. From the photo, we can see the rear wheel mounted to a single-sided swingarm with a wire-spoke design that would allow for tubeless tires.

Credit: Photos by Milagro/Gigi Soldano These days, any manufacturer with pretensions to being a global player at whatever level in the marketplace has to have a dual-purpose Adventure model in its range, and MV Agusta is no exception. Italy’s most historic trophy brand – the so-called Ferrari of motorcycles, with 270 Grand Prix road racing victories and 75 World Championship titles in its locker, including 17 successive 500GP crowns – actually has a notable off-road heritage, too.
2010 MV Agusta Brutale 990R and 1090RR First Impressions
Wed, 30 Sep 2009MV Agusta has revealed the latest iterations of its Brutale naked sportbikes. Although looking much like the previous 989R and 1078RR, these new editions have been full overhauled with revisions to their four-cylinder engines and significant chassis tweaks. Both versions use a lighter engine crankcase than before, and both have names that suggest a displacement different than what is actually under the tank.
