Kymco Xciting description
2010 KYMCO Xciting 500 RI, The new 2010 KYMCO Xciting 500Ri delivers KYMCO quality and economy in an agressive sport styling. Its 500cc, electronic fuel injected, DOHC liquid-cooled engine delivers at highway speeds with plenty of passing power. KYMCO's popular CVT transmission provides stepless acceleration from a standing start all the way up to cruising speed. The 15" front and 14" rear tires, adjustable hydraulic rear shocks and telescopic front forks smooth out the bumps. A well-padded driver's seat (30.25" seat height) with adjustable backrest, four- position adjustable brake levers, and the aerodynamic, sport style windscreen all add up to an incredibly comfortable and safe ride.
This bike is located at our East Moline location, Brenny's Cycle Works. Call (309)796-1664 for more information or stop by our website at brennys dot com to view our full inventory.

Kymco Quannon 150 Unveiled
Tue, 30 Dec 2008Taiwan-based Kymco unveiled three new products earlier this month at the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, CA., including the Quannon 150. The air-cooled 149.3cc single-cylinder “sportbike” weighs 299 lbs and produces 14 hp allegedly allowing it to reach speeds of 72 mph. Speed is unlikely to be the main goal for beginners or commuters who purchase such a bike, but the claimed 70-75 mpg fuel efficiency will surely strike their fancy.

Tue, 23 Dec 2014Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield and Troy Siahaan In an era where motorcycles are becoming more specialized (sportbike, standard, cruiser, adventure, etc.), scooters are diversifying as well – everything from 50cc city runabouts to the 650cc-plus mileage gobblers capable of serious touring. Striking a balance between them are models like the Kymco Downtown 300i; a middle-of-the-road scoot capable of doing it all. 2014 Kymco Downtown 300i Editor Score: 79.0% Engine 17.5/20 Suspension/Handling 12.0/15 Transmission/Clutch 8.75/10 Brakes 8.0/10 Instruments/Controls 3.75/5 Ergonomics/Comfort 7.0/10 Appearance/Quality 7.0/10 Desirability 8.0/10 Value 7.0/10 Overall Score 79/100 2013 Uber Scooter Shootout + Video Models like the Yamaha Smax, Honda PCX150 and Suzuki Burgman 200 all benefit from being highway legal, but sometimes you crave something a little more – be it more storage capacity or simply more power.

Obviously one has to be secure in one’s man or womanhood to even begin; my male college kid won’t be seen in the same garage with any scooter for fear it will dilute his musk. At the cool end of the scale, there’s our photographer/filmmaker/ballet dancer friend Richard Wright, who also finds time to head up the Bevery Hills Scooter Club and tear up Latigo Canyon on his bored-out Aprilia 250.
