1987 Honda CR (1987)
Welcome to my beautiful 1987 CR500, I painstakingly disassembled it, powder coated it in correct orange, rebuilt every mechanical component and replaced ALL engine bearings and engine components that can be and greased everything, rebuilt the rear shock w new bumper and 5 weight oil, all new plastics but have great condition originals to go with it, polished the tank, zero run time on new motor tires and complete build. If someone chooses I will break it in for them otherwise they can do it their way/this way the buyer has that choice. I did Black Satin Ceramic coat the exhaust pipe, it holds heat inside for better scavenging and also does not rust or come off like paint, just way better.2024-07-11 16:41:07Mukwonago, Wisconsin, United States05,000.00 -

1992 Honda CR (1992)
Purchased this CR500 from the original owner. Bike was a pretty clean, low hour, original bike, but was looking a little tired cosmetically from woods/trail riding. Bike has just gone through a nice refurb/restoration. Frame was powder coated Flash Red (orange) and added new UFO Flash Red (90 Orange) plastics to match. Also refurbished a nice 1991 CR500 fuel tank. Frame, UFO plastics, and OEM tank colors match perfectly, bike shows of OEM quality inspired by the 1980's look! Added new transluscent colored OEM mud flap, fork guards, and DC plastics Honda Works HRC brake guard. Front UFO plate is white. Suspension was done w/ Race Tech Gold Valves and Race Tech springs (.46/kg front) and just serviced by EVO suspension; all new seals, bushings, oil, ect. New parts include: All Balls suspension linkage bearings, Scott grips, Renthal bar pad, racing reeds, NOS O'Neal racing pro style levers w/ OEM covers, OEM CRF450R bar clamps, air filter, CEET foam (stiff), nice repod seat cover, rear brake pads, OEM gas cap vent tube, Boyesen Factory stator/ignition cover and numerous OEM and aftermarket nuts/bolts. Bike has IMS wide footpegs, nice Renthal sprockets/ Renthal gold o-ring chain, Pro Circuit Platinum pipe w/ a few minor dents, FMF Powercore II silencer/spark arrestor, newer Dunlop MX51 front. Inner right clutch cover has been replaced, no water pump rot. When bike was disassembled everything was soda blasted, polished, ultrasonic cleaned, and greased. Anything that looked worn was replaced. Shined a flashlight in the exhaust port, cylinder and piston looked great, has good compression. Bikes been using Maxima 927 2 stroke oil. This is a very nice, clean, tight bike. Nothing was overlooked. This bike is ready to ride or take it to the next level and get some gold rims! Have a Washington State title. Will work w/ buyer on shipping at your expense. Thanks for looking.2016-07-21 04:45:54Everett, Washington, United States14,000.00 -
1985 Honda CR (1985)
Bike has been in storage for 5 years. After a little work, the bike is running fine; however, it has a coolant leak, most likely at the water pump. Engine oil can be contaminated with water. I have purchased the two water pump seals; however, I have not installed them. They will be sold with bike. Bike exterior appears to be in really good shape, plastics are a little faded with some minor scratches. Side motor case has been repainted. Rear tire in good shape, front tire is weathered from age and forks have leaked at some point. Overall in very good shape for it's age and not being restored. Bike is sold as is. No title, bill of sale only. CA residents will have to pay back registration fees due non-op never being filed. Any questions, you can call me at 909-213-0608.2016-07-06 04:46:41Kingman, Arizona, United States104500 -

Kymco DTX 125: another adventure scooter will appear in Europe
Fri, 24 Sep 2021Almost a year ago, Kymco presented its first DTX 360 crossover scooter, and just the other day it became known that Kymco introduced its younger brother DTX 125, which is declared as a 2022 model in Europe. it is equipped with a 125 cc liquid-cooled engine that develops a maximum power of 13 hp at 8750 rpm. The decrease in cubic capacity also affected the mass of the device: the DTX 125 "lost" to 176 kg.
Church of MO: 2010 Kymco Scooter Lineup Intro
Sun, 13 Sep 2020Has anyone seen a new Kymco lately? The giant Taiwanese manufacturer claimed to be the world’s largest scooter manufacturer once upon a time. Maybe it still is.
Kymco SuperNEX Concept Unveiled at EICMA
Thu, 08 Nov 2018Kymco has carved out a niche producing scooters and small-displacement motorcycles like the K-Pipe 125, but the Taiwanese manufacturer now wants to reshape how we think about electric motorcycles. Debuting at EICMA, the Kymco SuperNEX concept looks to address some of issues consumers have about electric two-wheelers. While designing the SuperNEX, Kymco looked some of the qualities people enjoy about riding motorcycles that are lacking in most electric two-wheelers currently on the market.
Kymco Ionex Electric Scooter Platform Announced
Thu, 22 Mar 2018Kymco announced a new swappable battery system and electric charging architecture that will be used for ten electric scooters to be launched over the next three years. The first model, the Many EV, was presented along with Kymco’s Ionex electric scooter architecture at the 2018 Tokyo Motorcycle Show. Kymco did not provide much detail about the Many EV’s specifications, but based on its name, we assume it will perform similarly to the Kymco Many 125 gas-powered scooter.
2018 Kymco Xtown 300i ABS Review – First Ride
Fri, 09 Jun 2017Cross town for less Credit: Photos by Michael Spain-Smith With a scooter market of less than 30,000 units from major manufacturers a year*, the USA isn’t much of a thing for scooters, and medium-displacement scoots like Kymco’s new $3,999 Xtown are even less of a thing since Honda dropped its PCX 300 and Suzuki fired its Burgman 400. I got to ride the new Kymco Xtown 300i ABS last week, a scooter that replaces two similar-sized models in the Taiwanese company’s line and offers solid value to the scooter rider that wants comfort, convenience and freeway-friendly power. For 2018, Kymco also offers the bigger, faster – and $2,000 pricier – Xciting 400i, but has also dropped the Downtown 300i and People 300i from the line.
2018 Kymco Like 150i ABS Review
Mon, 05 Jun 2017Get your scoot on for less Scooters are big in European and other markets – around here, not so much. “Scooters and soccer,” Kymco PR rep Peter Jones tells us, “they’re just not a part of our culture.” Still, Kymco doggedly sticks to its guns, offering a full line of scooters where many OEMs have reduced or eliminated their scooter offerings. “The coolest person you know, that’s a scooter rider,” Jones goes on to say, and 54-year-old Taiwanese firm Kymco’s latest offering caters to the coolest of them.
2018 Kymco Xciting 400i Review - First Ride
Thu, 01 Jun 2017My fling with a thing Credit: Photos by Michael Spain-Smith We were snuggled into a conference room in the upscale Aloft hotel in Asheville, North Carolina, when PR man Peter Jones kicked off Kymco’s 2018 new-product launch by telling us that scooters in the U.S. market are “such a small thing, they’re not even really a thing… scooters and soccer, they’re just not a part of our culture.” But the lack of scooter culture has made Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco itself a thing. After staying doggedly in the American scooter market for the better part of two decades, Kymco has a coast-to-coast dealer network, a good reputation for reliability and value, and is basically the only purveyor of value-priced, high-performance maxi-scooters.
2018 Kymco Spade 150 Review – First Ride
Tue, 30 May 2017What's up, niches? Credit: Photos by Michael Spain-Smith Asheville, North Carolina has been the scene of several Kymco product launches, and why not? It’s an oddball little city deep in the heart of Dixie that boasts world-class food, fun and roads.
Battle Of The 125cc Ankle Biters, Part 2
Fri, 25 Nov 2016Now the real fun begins Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield | Videos by James Lee Martinec By now, we’ll assume you’ve read the Part 1 of the Ankle Biters test, wherein we asked some newer riders to ride the Honda Grom, Kawasaki Z125 Pro, Kymco K-Pipe 125, and SSR Motorsports Razkull 125. Their job was to give us feedback as to which bike makes the best learner for the absolute noob because it’s been awhile since any of the MO staff could call themselves one. Our riders had a lot of fun with the test, but as for us MOrons, we wanted a bit more excitement once we got a chance to throw a leg over the quartet.
Battle of the 125cc Ankle Biters, Part 1
Fri, 11 Nov 2016Honda Grom takes on the Kawasaki Z125, Kymco K-Pipe 125, and SSR Motorsports Razkull 125 Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield You can thank Honda for reigniting the mini bike craze with the release of the Honda Grom back in 2014. The little 125cc runabout is a refreshing throwback to the days you could grab your board, ride out to the ocean, hit the waves, then jet around town in search of the best carne asada burrito – while maybe sneaking into a skate park for a quick blast. In short, the Grom inspires fun rides at a slower pace.
