DESCRIPTION: This is one CLEAN Vulcan 900 that we took on trade towards an
RV. It’s got less than 8,000 miles on it, and it needs to get out for a ride!
We’ve still got some great riding weather this season, too – I’ve been riding
to work daily here lately, and loving it. Nice clear fresh air; we’re starting
to get some colors in the leaves; great scents of fall – this is a really
nice time to get out for a ride. This Vulcan has some nice upgrades, too – V&H Longshots;
PCIII (including cable and software), accessory grips, floorboards and
mirrors; highway bar and pegs; driving lights; some chrome covers; saddlebags
and tank bag; and all of them look great. It also has tassles on the levers…I’m
not a tassle guy myself, but they’re easy enough for the new owner to slip
off if they don’t like ?em. I didn’t see any nicks or dings in the paint or
chrome, and while the paint looks black…it has a very subtle pearl in it that
jumps out at you nicely in the sunlight. You can see it in a couple of the
photos, in the flash from the camera – that’s not dust on the paint, it’s the
metal flake. I’ve ridden the bike, too – it runs great, handles nicely even
with the 21” front tire, cruises nicely, rides comfortably, has a nice
seating position, and all the controls work the way they should. Brakes are
good. Tires look great. There’s a little dirt on the back wheel and tire from
riding it through a puddle on the way into the showroom, but that’s as dirty
as this one gets. I haven’t found any signs at all that its ever been down,
either – this is a nice, clean, ready-to-hit-the-road motorcycle for you. We’ll
also take care of the state inspection if you live in Maryland, when you
click Buy It Now. Like I said, it has some nice basic accessories on it. If you
want to change it up…that’s cool, you can get some riding in this season,
then when the weather really cools off and it’s time to park it, you can
start making the changes you want so it’s all ready to go, personalized for
you, when next season gets here. If you have any questions about the motorcycle, don’t hesitate
to ask. I may work for an RV dealer now, but I’ve been working, riding, and playing
with motorcycles for nearly 20 years now and I ride mine on a regular basis.
If you’re curious about something, just ask and I’m happy to get you your
answer. Please visit my FAQ
page for answers to common questions. If
you like one of my items…click the
button. My
bidders are missing out on some amazing deals because people are “watching”
items instead of buying them or bidding on them. What
that does is, it gives people more time to come on my lot, in person, look at
the items, realize how nice they really are…and buy them right then and there. And my bidders miss out. And then
I get flooded with calls and emails about “where’d that item go? I was
watching it!” because the auctions are getting pulled when people buy
them. So if you like one, and I’ve
answered all your questions about it, and you don’t want to lose out on
it…just click. I’m
a straight shooter in my ads. I don’t hide issues. I don’t “forget” details.
I write honest listings and I sell units for a great price. I hit my boss up
for every discount we can find before I write the ad – usually thousands of dollars off our lot
price. I price for cash. You get a great unit…and you save money! If
one of my listings disappears before it was scheduled to…sorry, but that
means someone else got it. If
you have any questions about how we sell our eBay units, check out the FAQ’s page in our eBay store. If your question isn’t
answered there, send me an email and I can get you the answer you need. EMAIL IS ALWAYS THE BEST
WAY TO REACH ME. If
you’re the “phone type” you can call 800-296-6959 between 9-6, M-F. Please
remember to ASK FOR ME BY NAME!! If I’m not at my desk (which is usually the
case), leave me a DETAILED
voicemail, and I will call you back as soon as I can. When you leave me a
message or email, ask your questions in the message. If you ask the questions up front, I can find out the
answers before I get back to you, and you get your answers much faster that
way! Please visit my FAQ
page for answers to common questions.

PLEASE
– ask for me by name when you come in, call, or email. It doesn’t cost you a thing…but it makes a BIG difference to me!! My name is JOE. Beckley’s is a large company – we cover
more than ten
acres and we’ve been
here for more than 30 years – but I’m still a one-man-show in eBay
sales. There will be times when I’m out on the lot taking photos for another
auction, or already with other buyers/bidders, helping them pick up and
answering their questions…. If you say “I’m here to see Joe”, they’ll do their best to find me so I can answer your questions
personally. If I’m not available, you’ll still get taken care of – but
because you said “Joe”, I get taken care of too. I know you like
getting credit for your work…and so do I. Thanks for helping me out! My regular office hours are Monday-Friday, 9-6. |
.SCAM ALERT!!!. 19 JUNE 2013 |
Apparently my eBay account has been
hacked…again. |
I’ve been getting calls and emails saying
“I got your second chance offer…” |
I DO NOT SEND
SECOND CHANCE OFFERS. |
If I offer a unit to a bidder after the
auction has ended, it is in a PERSONAL EMAIL through the eBay system, not the
eBay “second chance offer” form letter. |
If you get a “second chance offer” that
says it is from beckleysrvs, here is what you need to do to help shut down
the scammer: |
1.
Contact eBay IMMEDIATELY. Not me…EBAY
CUSTOMER SERVICE. Go to a new internet window or open a
brand new tab, log into eBay in THAT tab or window, and
contact customer service. DO NOT log
in through the message!! The best way to contact eBay is to go here: |
http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/questions/report-spoof-email.html |
2.
Look at the top of the message you
received
– does it have just your username (ebayuser2013, or whatever your screen name
is)? Or does it have your given name (John Smith)? No given name…SCAM. |
3.
If
you click “reply” in your email program (like replying to a regular email),
does the reply-to address say “usetheyellowbutton”? If it does…SCAM. |
4.
Does
any address connected to that message say “ebey”? Look at the spelling…it’s
supposed to say eBay, not ebey. SCAM. |
5.
DO
NOT CLICK REPLY INSIDE THE
MESSAGE. The yellow button takes you to a website that will look like
eBay…but it harvests your username and password so people can use your eBay
account and SPEND YOUR MONEY. |
DON’T EVER
SEND MONEY OR LOG INTO PAYPAL THROUGH ONE OF THESE MESSAGES!!!!! |
Most importantly…USE COMMON SENSE.
If you aren’t sure if it’s real…it probably isn’t. |
Thank you for viewing my item!
J GOOD LUCK!! J

Wrestling the Green Meanie
Tue, 03 Aug 2010A three cylinder, 750cc two-stroke contained in a double cradle, tubular frame with telescopic suspension made up the intimidating Kawasaki KR750, seen here ridden around the legendary Spa circuit. Remembering the KR750, named the 'Green Meanie', TT winner Mick Grant said: "The KR750 was not as bad as what people thought it was. It had a nice spread, with enormous power and mid-range torque.
Oh hi there Mobil!
Wed, 07 Mar 2012There was a time when Grand Prix racing was a lucrative affair, with the bikes and their riders resembling the fag packets that sponsored them. However, two unfortunate and costly blows hit the paddock; the banning of tobacco advertising in 2005 followed by the global economic crisis. The off-shoot saw grid numbers drastically dwindle with staple teams, like Kenny Roberts' outfit, and manufacturers, Kawasaki and Suzuki, succumbing to the events and disappearing.
