Kawasaki Vulcan description
Up for sale is 1992 Kawasaki Vulcan VN1500A6, also called a Vulcan 88 for the 88 cubic inch motor. The bike has 49xxx miles and runs good with plenty of power. It has a low seat height and is very nimble. The tires are in terrific shape, the rear is nearly new and the front has about 65% left. It has lots of chrome, a fuel gauge, saddlebags, windshield and sissy bar. The bike is in super condition with some minor cosmetic flaws, but overall looks great. Kawasaki Issues Recall on Unauthorized Concours 14 Police Models
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Kawasaki announced a recall on 44 2012-2013 Concours 14 potentially faulty motorcycles allegedly converted for police use without the manufacturer’s consent. Back in early 2012, Kawasaki announced a recall on 278 2009-2012 Concours 14 police motorcycles because the add-on equipment installed by Idaho-based Beaudry Motors suffered electrical problems. According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.
Sykes Staying with Kawasaki Through 2016 WSBK Season
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes has signed a contract extension with Kawasaki to see him continue to ride for Team Green through the 2016 season. Sykes, who currently holds a 44-point lead over Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli with three rounds remaining in the season, has been with Kawasaki since 2010. Since hopping on board the Ninja ZX-10R superbike, Sykes has won 22 WSBK races and holds a record for 23 Superpoles in the current qualifying format.

The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.
