Kawasaki Vulcan description

2013 KAWASAKI VULCAN 1700 NOMAD, Classic Tourer, Modern Comfort The traditionally styled Vulcan 1700 Nomad fits right in with any classic bike, from one to eighty years old. However, just because it looks the part, doesnt mean you have to settle for anything less than modern performance and reliability. For some its a full-blown touring bike, the large windshield, hard saddlebags, floorboards, backrest and standard cruise control help take the sting out of long days in the saddle. Strap a sleeping bag to the pillion, throw a leg over its low-slung seat and feel the Nomads powerful 1700 cc V-twin effortlessly inhale the miles while you decompress and watch the world scrolling past. With its mix of the latest technology and luxurious two-tone paint adding to its classic style, its a one-two punch of thrill.

Single-Cylinder 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 250SL/RR Mono Revealed

Fri, 14 Feb 2014

Kawasaki revealed a new 250cc Ninja for the Asian market featuring a single-cylinder engine. Called the Kawasaki Ninja RR Mono or 250SL (depending on the market), the single-cylinder model offers a bit less power and more torque than the parallel-Twin Ninja 250 but weighs 46 pounds lighter. We first saw spy photos of the new mini-Ninja undergoing testing late last year, but now we can see the finished product.

Kawasaki Z1R.

Thu, 09 Dec 2010

These two beautiful Z1R Kawasakis appeared at the annual Mooneyes Yokohama Custom show last weekend. With one sporting a street/strip look (spot the belly-scraping ride height and rigid rear struts) and the other undergoing a sort of modernisation, they both reminded me just how handsome and unique the original slab-sided Z1R was.  Judging by some of the other wild and weird exhibits I made a mental note to myself: must make sure I'm in Japan this time next year.

2013 Ninjas in New York

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

In a very untraditional move, Kawasaki is readying to assail New York’s Times Square on September 13, with 2013 model Ninjas. A day-long, two-block party on Broadway, from West 45th to West 47th Streets, will celebrate the global debut of the new Ninjas with music, giveaways and celebrity guests. For those who cannot make it to the Big Apple, Kawasaki will be live streaming the “Ninja Times Square Takeover” on the Kawasaki.com website from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
