And for those looking for an even more distinctive look, the Vulcan 900 Classic Special Edition exudes badass with a new for 2012 black-out treatment on the forks, fender struts, air cover, engine covers and cases and cylinders and valve covers. A beautiful two-tone Pearl Meteor Gray / Polar White paint job is enhanced by a checkered flag pinstripe. Completing the Special Edition look are chrome pipes and whitewall tires, for the ultimate in retro flair. It’s powered by a 903 cc engine, just like its 900 Vulcan brethren. 2011-2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Recalled for Crankcase Oil Leak
Fri, 10 Aug 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall on its 2011 and 2012 Ninja ZX-10R due to a potential oil leak in the crankcase. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, engine oil may leak from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R‘s crankcase from a machined area where the starter is mounted. Leaked oil may pool on top of the crank case and, under continued use, spill onto the rear tire, reducing traction and increasing the risk of a crash.

Mon, 17 Feb 2014Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
2013 AMA Supercross Anaheim 2 Race Report
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Ryan Villopoto claimed his first win of the 2013 AMA Supercross season and his first since the knee injury at last year’s Seattle round that kept him out of the 2012 AMA Motocross championship. The victory in front of 37,789 fans at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., made up for his disappointing 16th place finish two weeks earlier at the same site. His Monster Energy Kawasaki teammate Jake Weimer held the early advantage in the main event, taking the holeshot ahead of the Honda Muscle Milk duo of Justin Barcia and Trey Canard.
