Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. Adjectives fail me.  This almost seems like one of those sci-fi movies where an evil scientist tries to cross two deadly animals together to create the ultimate killing machine. So what are we looking at?  It seems to be the deformed love child of a Citroën Xantia and a Kawasaki 1000 RX. This custom project, called “Snaefell“, cost its creator about 15000 Euros and 10 years of part time work.

2013 Kawasaki KX Motocross Bikes Revealed – Air Forks for KX450F!

Kawasaki has unveiled its 2013 KX series motocross bikes. Both models receive updates for 2013 but perhaps the biggest change is the new pneumatic fork on the KX450F. The KX450F has done well for Kawasaki, thanks to Ryan Villopoto’s 2011 and 2012 AMA Supercross and 2011 AMA Motocross championships.
