Kawasaki Vulcan tech info
Kawasaki Vulcan description
2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Classic, VN1700C - Purposeful beauty with a traditional cruiser and high tech blend. Technology is supposed to make life easier, not busier and ever more complex. Kawasaki’s new Vulcan 1700 Classic cruiser employs the right amount of technology with a dose of old-fashioned simplicity to allow the rider to focus on the experience and not the machine. Its lighter, more compact frame holds a new engine utilizing a high-tech electronic throttle valve. Transferring the healthy torque output to the road is a new six-speed transmission with overdrive and super strong carbon fiber drive belt.

The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.
The Best Racetrack You’ve Never Heard Of
Sat, 08 Nov 2008Last week I had the opportunity to ride one of the best tracks in the world, but you’ve probably never heard of it. It’s called the Autopolis International Racing Course and is located in northern Kyushu, Japan, a 90-minute bus ride from the nearest city, Kumamoto. Autopolis is a wonderfully flowing, 2.9-mile track that rises and falls like a symphonic overture, with inclines that range up to 7.2% uphill, 10% downhill.
Kawasaki Issues Recall on Unauthorized Concours 14 Police Models
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Kawasaki announced a recall on 44 2012-2013 Concours 14 potentially faulty motorcycles allegedly converted for police use without the manufacturer’s consent. Back in early 2012, Kawasaki announced a recall on 278 2009-2012 Concours 14 police motorcycles because the add-on equipment installed by Idaho-based Beaudry Motors suffered electrical problems. According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.
