Kawasaki Vulcan tech info
Kawasaki Vulcan description
This auction is for a black Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic motorcycle. The bike currently has 8,619 miles on its odometer. This model features fuel injection, a smooth shaft drive, a powerful 1470cc engine, front and rear disc brakes, driver floorboards, adjustable shocks, and a low 27.6" seat height. I have made several upgrades on the bike from its stock condition. The original exhaust was replaced with Roadhouse Classic 2-into-1 pipes with serrated shields. These pipes improve the aesthetics of the bike and provide a pleasantly deep rumbling sound without being especially loud. More information about these pipes can be found here. The stock pipes are also available upon request (contact seller for price and other terms). The handlebars are currently mounted on Scootworks Polished Phatrisers II. These risers raise the bars 2.5" and place the grips about 3" closer to the rider. Also included on the bike are Willie and Max saddlebags, a padded passenger backrest, and two extra front headlights (see photos) for greater visibility. The bike provides a comfortable and powerful ride and does not exhibit operational defects. In physical terms, the bike is in great shape, with a lustrous black finish and plenty of chrome. The best representation of the bike's appearance can be obtained by reviewing the many photos included with this listing. A few (relatively minor) cosmetic blemishes on the bike include the following: (1) small surface scratches on the gas tank from removing the Kawasaki logo; (2) a few scratches on the risers; and (3) discoloration (yellowing from use) and some light scuffing of the pipes. The original key is slightly bent, but this does not affect its use. Additionally, I have placed a small amount of foam between the headlight and its encasing to dampen vibration and allow for a quieter ride. Payment is by cash,
cashier's check, or money order only, and shipping will take place after the
payment clears. The buyer pays the shipping charge by a shipping
service available through eBay. Please contact me if you wish to make
alternate shipping arrangements. Free local pickup is available in Kutztown,
PA. Sorry no international shipping. I would be eager to answer any questions
you have about this motorcycle or the auction. |
