Kawasaki Vulcan description

2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom, Bags, windshield, backrest and pipes. Call Nikki Dotson today for the best price. - NEW KAWASAKI VULCAN 900 CUSTOM OFFERS CLEAN STYLING AND A SLENDER 21-INCH FRONT WHEEL. Adds a third styling option to the Vulcan 900 family. It’s been said that the joy of motorcycling is as much in the eye of the rider as it is in the thrill of the ride. That is especially so when appealing to the cruising rider who seeks the perfect blend of comfort, big bike feel, and customized appearance. With the debut of the new Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom, those riders looking for eye candy to match a unique, go-anywhere mount are in for a real treat. The Vulcan 900 Custom joins the mid-size cruiser family—which already includes the 900 Classic and 900 Classic LT—as the crown jewel in Kawasaki’s triumvirate of open road fun, power, and attention-getting looks. Boasting exceptional roll-on acceleration that matches the get-up-and-go of much larger motorcycles, the Vulcan 900 Custom was designed to offer a uniqueness that separates it from the crowd. With its massive rear tire, sculpted bodywork, and light-looking front end highlighted by a thin 21-inch cast wheel, this motorcycle will make its owners proud, whether tooling down the highway or simply parked at one of the many motorcycling hangouts throughout the country.

Results From Day 2 Of World Supersport Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

If there’s one constant when it comes to World Supersport racing, it’s that Kenan Sofuoglu will be at or near the front at all times. The former champ has a special ability when it comes to lapping middleweight sportbikes as quickly as possible, and it showed again at the conclusion of World Supersport testing at Phillip Island. Sofuoglu’s best time of 1:33.506 was set during the first day of testing, but still nobody was able to beat it.

This steam powered motorcycle (not a bicycle, 'cos it don't have no pedals), could be perfect for you if you like a brew at short notice on your Sunday ride. Built in 1894, it's about to be auctioned and is expected to reach a world record price (for a kettle). It uses a coal furnace to super-heat water into steam which is fed into a small engine.

ZX-10R inspired by JPS Lotus?

Tue, 10 Jul 2012

Spotted on Kawasaki's Facebook page, this 'Limited Edition' ZX-10R has been created by none other than double-F1 World Champ Emerson Fittipaldi, who is - amongst other things - a Kawasaki dealer in Brazil and who also happened to win his first World Championship in 1972 in a JPS Lotus that had a very similar colour scheme. Fittipaldi started his motorsport career on a motorcycle, aged just 14, before heading to hydrofoils (surely no-one else at world level has ever raced these?!) and then the more traditional route of karting. Question is: what do you think to the paintjob?
