Kawasaki Vulcan description

2005 Kawasaki Vulcan VN2000, Big Bike for sale! 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000, powerful 2053 cc engine pushes you back in the seat, even at high speeds. Own the road when riding this one! Low miles for the year, a dream to ride. Needs nothing. No leaks, no complaints, treated her with love. Power Commander EX installed, programmed close to nuts, haven't had a professional dial it in with a dyno. Small ding in left side of tank, size of a golfball. All paint shines, scuff free, all chrome glistens, all leather crack-free. Custom Corbin seat, aftermarket Cobra pipes. Raised handlebars for the comfort ride. Tires good for at least another season. Best handling bike ever! The larger width rubber makes handling a dream on the highway: tarstrips, lane markers, asphalt cracks have no effect whatsoever. 2nd owner, back surgeries preventing me from riding. When I can ride fulltime again, i will be shopping for a less than 960lb bike! Hate to sell it, but I'd rather not have it sitting lonely in a garage.... Bike is located in Sarasota, FL 34233. I prefer not to deal with shipping, will coordinate loading if buyer has company. Would much rather see her get ridden to her new home. Cash or money order only. Advertising through other means as well, sure to sell quick, be the lucky one who acts quickly!! $5,500.00 9414046561

Community Tip: How to Shave your Motorcycle Seat

Thu, 30 Jul 2009

Motorcycle communities are a huge resource for any kind of project or help you might need.  It’s incredible the amount of stuff people post and the effort they put into it! arturo3rd on Kawiforums.com posted some great tips and photos on how to shave down your motorcycle seat for a more comfortable ride. Things you’ll need: flat screwdriver pliers sharp knife(steak) rough grit sand paper staple gun I’m unsure if all motorcycle seats are made of the same material so be wary before you start if your motorcycle isn’t a Kawasaki.

Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.

2013 AMA Supercross Indianapolis Race Report

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Ryan Villopoto continues to be in championship form, taking his third consecutive victory and sixth of the season with a win at Lucas Oil Stadium for the Indianapolis round of the 2013 AMA Supercross Championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider had a calculated, methodical race to take the win and expand his championship lead to nine points ahead of Davi Millsaps. Millsaps took the holeshot in a chaotic start to the main event that saw several riders go down at the opening corner.
