Kawasaki Vulcan description
2004 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic, This is a very clean Kawasaki Vulcan and needs nothing! Comes with Vance & Hines exhaust system - With its fat tires, chrome back-swept exhaust pipes and stepped seat, the Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic motorcycle conjures up friendly images of cool evenings on a small-town boulevard or the sound of its V-twin engine softly rumbling through the leaves of a tree-lined country road. It is confidence inspiring, yet stylish. Affordable – but all cruiser, from its tear-drop tank to its valanced fenders and chrome wire wheels. The pulse of the Vulcan 800 Classic comes from its rubber-mounted, 805cc, V-twin engine, which features a single-pin crankshaft and a gear-driven balancer to reduce vibration. Finned cylinders and four-valve heads are liquid cooled for optimum thermal control. Concealed automatic cam chain tensioners preserve the engines clean lines, while simultaneously allowing maintenance-free, precise cam timing. A spin-on oil filter also helps keep maintenance at a minimum. A 36mm Keihin carburetor equipped with an accelerator pump gives the Vulcan 800 Classic its quick throttle response. To take advantage of the engines broad torque curve, the five-speed transmission enhances the strong acceleration and creates a relaxed engine pace at highway speeds. The transmission also features Kawasakis exclusive Positive Neutral Finder, which simplifies finding neutral while at a standstill.

Riding Impressions Of The Virginia Tech Bolt+ Video
Fri, 18 Jul 2014During last weekend’s round of the eMotoRacing series, held at New Jersey Motorsports Park, the series had a special entry. Mixed among the Brammo TTXs and Empulse Rs that are normally seen in the series, the Bolt II electric motorcycle from Virginia Tech University filled a grid slot amongst them. Here, series founder, promoter and competitor, Arthur Kowitz tells us what it’s like to ride this completely student-built electric racing motorcycle.
Ninja H2 Video XVI – High Precision Machinery + Video
Tue, 14 Oct 2014Yes, folks, Kawasaki has released yet another teaser video for the Ninja H2. This time, it’s number 16, titled, “Beauty in High Precision.” In it, we see the impeller for the supercharger being created from a solid piece of billet aluminum. Admittedly, this inundation of H2 videos is getting to be a bit much, even for us, but if you’re a fan of machine porn, then Kawasaki’s latest video will surely please.
