Kawasaki Vulcan description
2004 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic, VN1600 - Classic can be described as a work of enduring excellence or serving as a standard of excellence. Both descriptions can be attributed to the Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic motorcycle with its wide, low stance, fat tires and big V-twin engine. Introduced last year with a large, 1,552cc engine and a host of styling changes, the Vulcan 1600 Classic complements the Kawasaki lineup for 2004 as the quintessential heavyweight cruiser, perfect in stock form or customized to suit the riders personality. Power for the Vulcan 1600 Classic comes from a liquid-cooled, V-twin, four-stroke 1552cc engine that is tuned for low- and mid-range power. Each cylinder features a single overhead cam actuating four valves, and hydraulic lash adjusters automatically maintain valve clearance for smooth engine performance, reduced valve clatter and no maintenance. Plus, automatic chain tensioners keep cam timing accurate and provide greater reliability.
