The Nomad's 90 cubic-inch V-twin engine generates incredible torque with its high-compression pistons and performance-oriented cam timing. There are four valves per cylinder actuated by single overhead cams. Hydraulic lash adjusters automatically maintain valve clearance for smooth engine performance, reduced noise and minimal maintenance, and automatic cam chain tensioners keep cam timing accurate and provide greater reliability with virtually no upkeep.The Nomad features all the styling elements befitting a class-leading cruiser, including twin chrome exhaust pipes, chrome engine guards, rider and passenger floorboards, and polished alloy wheels. Equally important, however, are the touring accessories, such as an adjustable windshield, plush air-assisted rear suspension, a sculpted seat for one- or two-up long-distance riding, ergonomic controls and adjustable levers. NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

Anthony West Can’t Afford to Pay to Race MotoGP, Mulls Retirement
Fri, 27 Jan 2012The 2012 MotoGP season is still months away and the world championship has already lost an entry, as veteran Anthony West announced his withdrawal from the series because he cannot afford to compete. The 30-year-old Australian racer was included on the provisional 2012 MotoGP entry list to compete for the Speed Master team on an Aprilia CRT machine. But with the official pre-season test at Sepang, Malaysia, coming up next week, West says he will not race because teams are asking riders to pay too much to race for them.

Mon, 24 Feb 2014The 2014 World Supersport season opened in dramatic fashion after a red-flagged restart turned the 18-lap race into a five-lap sprint, with MV Agusta making a triumphant return to the top of the podium for the first time since 1976. The Supersport event began with a hard-fought battle between three-time champion Kenan Sofuoglu, Kev Coghlan and Michael van der Mark. Sofuoglu and his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R held a slim lead over Coghlan’s Yamaha R6 and van der Mark’s Honda CBR600RR when the race was halted after CIA Insurance Honda rider Jack Kennedy suffered an engine problem and leaked oil onto the track.
