But its sparkling appearance and long, sleek design isn't fooling anyone – underneath all that chrome is 1470cc of pure muscle. The Vulcan 1500 Classic's big V-twin engine produces incredible low-rpm torque that's perfect for city streets or the open highway. This advanced, liquid cooled, SOHC design displaces 90 cubic inches and shines with elegantly sculpted cylinders and polished cooling fins, while the large radiators are tucked from view between the frame downtubes. Fri, 07 Sep 2012Ryan Villopoto and Jake Weimer have signed multi-year contract extensions with Kawasaki, ensuring the two riders will continue competing for Team Green in AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross championships through 2013 and beyond. Villopoto and Kawasaki have been a winning combination both indoors and outdoors. Villopoto won three 250 motocross titles and a Supercross Lites West Region title with Kawasaki before moving up to the 450 class in 2009, winning two Supercross races in his rookie year.
