Kawasaki Vulcan description

I am selling my 2003 Vulcan 1600 Classic. I use it as a daily driver so the mileage will change daily. I am selling it to move up to a larger bike. This bike is awesome! It sounds and rides great! It has the Dynojet Power Commander III. You simple go to their website and download the program. I have the USB plug that connects the bike to your laptop computer that allows a full range of fuel adjustments, as much as +/- 100% over stock. Adjustments can be made either with a Windows based computer or by using the face plate mounted button adjusters. No permanent changes are made to the bike's system. Once the unit is removed it reverts back to its stock settings. There are no mechanical or cosmetic issues with the bike. RideNow Powersports of Concord, NC has the service records. The bike is garage kept. If you want more pictures just ask. Here are some details;

Krome after-market pipes (sounds awesome)
Cobra Fatty Engine Guard
Dynojet Power commander III
K&N air filter (newly installed)
New tires front and back Metzeler (ME 888)
New brake pads front and back
Brake/Clutch fluid serviced this summer by RideNow Powersports of Concord

EICMA 2011: Kawasaki Versys 1000 Not Coming to U.S.

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

While Kawasaki unveiled its Versys 1000 at EICMA, don’t expect to see it on American roadways any time soon (edit: but if you live north of the border in Canada you’re in luck, as it will offered for CN$13,999, a bit higher than the Z1000 but the same price as the Ninja 1000): What will we be missing? A bigger, badder version of the original Kawasaki Versys seems to be the answer. “Created as the long-awaited big brother of Kawasaki’s mid-size any-road street surfer, the new Versys 1000 is designed to enable the greatest riding enjoyment in the widest variety of street riding situations,” Kawasaki Motors Europe says in a release.

Mon, 17 Mar 2014

Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart captured his third win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season and 48th 450 class victory of his career, tying him with Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time win list behind Jeremy McGrath‘s 72. Racing before a crowd of 50,856 fans at Ford Field in Detroit, Stewart took the lead from holeshot-taker Cole Seely shortly before the end of the second lap and led the rest of the 20-lap race for the win. Stewart led by as much as 7.1 second but eased off at the end, crossing the finish less than two seconds ahead of Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto.
