Kawasaki Vulcan description

2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 CLASSIC, This is a hard one for me to let go of but I just moved into a townhouse and need to sell my baby to make room. It's a 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan VN1600A1 Classic that has been taken excellent care of. It has leather saddle bags, sissy bar, windshield and lets not forget the aftermarket Cobra Classic Deluxe Slashcut exhaust pipes. In my opinion these pipes are PERFECT for this bike. They have a very throaty bark when you open things up yet they are not too loud when cruising they're loud when you want it and comfortable the rest of the time. I also just put a new $100 battery in the bike and the tires are in good shape. The bike has under 21,000 miles and is in such good condition I'm sure it'll go tens-of-thousands more. Priced to sell quick, below the book value. Recall for 2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT

Thu, 30 Jun 2011

Kawasaki is issuing a recall on the 2011 Vulcan Classic LT tourer due to a risk of damage to the tires’ inner tubes. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the inner tubes on some Kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT models may become pinched near the valve stem during mounting. In some cases, this may result in a loss of air pressure.

Single-Cylinder Kawasaki Ninja Spotted in Indonesia

Tue, 31 Dec 2013

Based solely on recent history, you’d think the engineers at Kawasaki are strong believers of the “bigger is better” philosphy. You need only look at the Ninja ZX-6R which shook off the shackles of the 600cc supersport segment with a 636cc displacement, then came the Ninja 300 replacing the 250. New spy photos from Indonesia, however suggest there’s still room for smaller engines from Team Green.

Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
