Kawasaki Vulcan description

2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Drifter, INSTANT CLASSIC!! EXTRA CLEAN!! PASSENGER SEAT W/ LUGGAGE!! WE SHIP!! - The Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Drifter motorcycle makes the ultimate nostalgic statement. Although the Drifter takes full advantage of modern features such as digital fuel injection, dual 36mm throttle bodies and a catalytic converter on California models, its neo-retro appearance recalls the sweeping grace of the late 1940s. Setting the Drifter apart is its distinctive styling, with deep, sculpted fenders that cover much of the spoked wheels. The wide solo seat resembles sprung seats of years past, and a single fish-tail muffler juts rebelliously out the back. The engine covers, headlight shell, fork and shock covers, handlebar and clamp, rear fender rail, and license plate bracket are all chrome-plated.

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.

The TT800 From Deus Ex Machina

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.
