Kawasaki Vulcan description

This is a Kawasaki VN750 Vulcan  A14 Model from 1998 its a V Twin 750cc shaft drive machine. Its been laid up for years in the back of a now out of business motorcycle Dealership. The bike was taken in part exchange and ended up being pushed to the back of the shop before I acquired it only a few months ago. The bike has covered 9900 miles from new and it absolutely standard. Its been refreshed with many new parts as shown in some of the photos. Brand new top of the range tires with zero miles on them. New quality brand Yuasa battery and EBC brake pads . Front calipers rebuilt with Genuine Kawasaki parts. All carburetor seals and jets replaced with genuine Kawasaki parts.  Air Boxes have performance K&N air filters installed along with that a new fuel/pet cock tap and fuel sender unit installed.  The bike comes with Two Genuine Kawasaki Keys and a third off brand Key (So three keys total) and a Clean Maryland Title .

The bike starts off the button and rides just as it was new. Its exceptionally clean without any damage or abuse . I don't think its ever been ridden in bad weather as the underside of the fenders are practically as new. As I said it has a clean Maryland Title that is in the previous owners name. It has been signed on the reverse ready for the new owner to title it. There is no inspection certificate for this machine but considering the $1200,00 spent on new parts tires and brakes etc and being that it has all its factory parts reflectors and all that.  There is no reason why it would not pass without any issues.

The chrome work is as good as new and the seat is without rips or tears. Everything operates as it should. I already have six other bikes and thought I may like to try this bike but its just not my style as the new owner will find out when they come to collect it and see my other bikes. I am more a sports bike person. This bike will make someone really happy as everything you would expect to replace on a bike of this age has been done.

The current title that I have shows 5540 miles registered  as of  3/12/05 when the previous owner to me registered the machine. That tells me that I am the third person to have owned it or be it just for a few months now.

The photos I have taken represent the bike very well and do not enhance or detract from its condition. Its not perfect and there are some blemishes on the lower front fork legs and the edges of the wheel rims due to the ravages of time. But I must stress no abuse or damage from any accident or monkeys working on it.

The only thing missing is the bikes original tool kit but I did manage to track down a brand new tool pouch and rubber holding strap the resides in the rear storage compartment. The new owner is better off going to the hardware store and buying some better quality wrenches and pliers etc than Kawasaki would have supplied anyway. Kawasaki are asking over a hundred bucks for a replacement tool set. Surprisingly enough Kawasaki still have nearly every part for this model still available I have noticed.

The bike is Located in Severna Park Maryland about 25 miles south of Baltimore and maybe 35 miles east of Washington DC. You are welcome to come and look at the bike before bidding and ask any questions you like or just send me an email and I will send more photos and answer any Questions.

If you are an out of State bidder your MVA may require a bill of sale along with the MD title that I have for the bike. In which case I may have to title the bike in my name first before I can give you a bill of sale which I don't have a problem doing. But I would rather not bother spending another 70 Bucks on a title just to pass it onto someone else if you understand.   If after you have bid on and won the auction and inspected the machine and if for any reason you are not happy with it then I will not hold you to the purchase . (No hard Feelings and I will just Re Ebay it .  I doubt that will be the case as its a really nice clean machine without fault. ( Any inspection of this machine is welcome and invited )

Thanks for looking . Any Suggestions about my advertisement are welcome

PLEASE TAKE NOTE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will only accept Cash on Collection or a Certified Bank Check Please.  I can hold the bike for a  weeks after auction but no longer before I re advertise it..

I welcome any Questions .

2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Homologated for AMA Pro Racing Despite 636cc Displacement

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

The 2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has been homologated for AMA Pro Racing, making it eligible for the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes for 2013. The news comes as a bit of a surprise as those classes typically consist of Inline Four racebikes with a displacement smaller than 600cc. The new Ninja ZX-6R immediately carries a displacement advantage over its I-4 competition in the class such as the Honda CBR600R, Suzuki GSX-R600 and Yamaha YZF-R6.

Kawasaki World Debut At AIMExpo

Mon, 11 Aug 2014

Kawasaki has chosen the 2014 American International Motorcycle Expo as the venue to make the world debut of a yet unannounced motorcycle model. The model launch will take place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, this October 16-19.  “AIMExpo demonstrated last year that it can serve as the ideal platform for media and brand activities and Kawasaki will leverage this grand stage to reveal new products, as well as interact closely with dealers and consumers,” explains Kevin Allen, Kawasaki Manager, PR + Brand Experience. “We have some very exciting new product to share and AIMExpo is the perfect place to make these announcements.” Attendees will also witness the North American introduction of all-new vehicles in several categories from Kawasaki. Following the unveilings, all products will then be on full display for all to see inside Kawasaki’s booth (#2165) out on the AIMExpo show floor.  “Kawasaki joins an expanding list of key companies that sees AIMExpo as the perfect means to infuse energy into the powersports business in North America,” says Larry Little, Vice President and General Manager, Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group.
