I have for sale a 1997 Voyager XII Zg 1200. The bike is in running rideable condition. I inherited this bike last summer from my father who bought a new bike and gave me this one. He had this bike since 2008 and he took pretty good care of it.
There are a few things I should point out about the bike. It will need a speedometer drive installed. I have the new cable, but not the drive. There is a crack in the windshield, that my father drilled a small hole in the end of to keep it from spreading. The plastic on the tank/battery cover has a couple cracks in it. I just replaced the battery last month. The vinyl on the front part of the seat began to split when I was riding in the cold over the winter..It has been patched with leather a shoe epoxy. The radio works, but never tested the tape player. Same with the C.B. It lights up and turns on but I never tested it because I never had the mike set up. The left rear speaker rubber mounts tore and it is zipped tied on. This bike ran very well for me this past fall, winter and spring. It is a very comfortable bike for long rides and has plenty of power. I do also have the drivers back rest and the complete service manual. WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report
Mon, 30 Sep 2013Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
Preliminary 2012 MotoGP Entry List Released
Fri, 13 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. The provisional list includes 21 riders in the premiere class, including nine classified as Claiming Rule Team entries. Defending MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner will wear the #1 plate for the 2012 season, the first with both CRT entries and the new 1000cc engine displacement cap.
