Purchased new in 2013, watched unpacked from crate at dealer. Bike in as new condition. Excel tubeless wire wheels,19" front and 17" rear. Great for fire roads, camping or week long trip in the mountains or coastline. If prefer a 17" front rim, can have a new Excel rim laced and installed with new matching Shinko 705 tire for $350. However, suggest you ride the bike before considering, is perfect as is. Pictures speak to the condition, is a ‘garage queen’ to some level as I have other bikes I ride. Constantly asked about the Versys when riding, is a head turner. Price is firm. Kawasaki Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 02 Aug 2011Kawasaki reported a 8.7% decrease in motorcycle sales over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011. The motorcycle and engine division (which includes ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft and general purpose engines) generated sales of 59.8 billion yen (US$775.4 million) , a decrease from the 65.5 billion yen (US$848.9 million) reported from the same period last year. Overall, Kawasaki Heavy Industries reported a profit of 9.56 billion yen (US$123.8 million) over the quarter, compared to a profit of 5.88 billion yen (US$76.2 million) reported last year.

Pirelli To Remain Tire Supplier For All World Superbike Classes Through 2018
Wed, 10 Sep 2014Pirelli’s relationship with the World Superbike Championship started in 2004 and will carry on through 2018, as the Italian company will continue to supply tires for every class of the championship. What follows is the official Pirelli press release. Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tire Supplier for all classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship having won the tender organized by Dorna, promoter and organizer of the World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation.
