In a very untraditional move, Kawasaki is readying to assail New York’s Times Square on September 13, with 2013 model Ninjas. A day-long, two-block party on Broadway, from West 45th to West 47th Streets, will celebrate the global debut of the new Ninjas with music, giveaways and celebrity guests. For those who cannot make it to the Big Apple, Kawasaki will be live streaming the “Ninja Times Square Takeover” on the Kawasaki.com website from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Pirelli To Remain Tire Supplier For All World Superbike Classes Through 2018

Pirelli’s relationship with the World Superbike Championship started in 2004 and will carry on through 2018, as the Italian company will continue to supply tires for every class of the championship. Kawasaki received four awards including gold medals for Best Venue and Best Cinematography at the New York Festivals International Television & Film Awards for ads featuring the Ninja ZX-6R (636) and the Z800. The New York Festivals have been celebrating the best in television and films for 55 years. This year’s awards, announced at the National Association of Broadcasters Show in Las Vegas, awarded 119 gold medals, 145 silver medals, 10 bronze medals and 327 finalist certificates for entries representing 50 different countries.
