We have a 1979 Honda Gold Wing GL1000 up for auction. Powered with a smooth 1000 engine, Other than the cigarette lighter, It is complete as it came out of the factory. No modifications or changes have been made. The tank paint is a little dull, one small scratch on the left rear of the tank. Very nice Vetter equipped GL1000 I took the motor out over a year ago to repair the starter clutch that had gummed up so all new OEM clutch internal chains starter clutch rollers water pump neutral light switch (neutral light only shines in neutral!) thermostat valve seals both base gaskets carbs cleaned out nice travelcade seat (I have the original king queen but split) new brake pads in spec resurfaced and drilled discs stainless steel front brake lines front forks air damped new rear shocks electronic ignition gas gauge sender adjusted so it reads usefully spin on oil filter mod all rear lights LED original speedo said 89 thousand I had to replace with a used one reading 49 thousand Unfotunately I misplaced the side bag keys and havent managed a trip to key kraft on Church Street for new ones.2016-08-04 04:44:49San Mateo, California, United States892,750.00 -

1979 NAKED HONDA GOLDWING GL 1000 A nice example of a non molested original Naked Godwing Gl 1000 daily rider, in outstanding condition, never dropped or crashed all original , truly a collectible bike, Windjammer fairing installed at dealer when new, can easily be removed without compromise to the bike, but invaluable on the highway, has 12v accessory port and storage a few accessories include Honda line rear rack installed Honda Line sissy bar (not installed but included) Honda Line engine protection bars installed Runs flawlessly used daily and always garaged , waxed and cleaned this bike is not a show bike, however it is a nice example and turns heads daily fresh oil , and all fluids recent, recent service work includes: recent timing belts throttle cables (both) full oil service front and rear tires (recently) Honda Line Grips OEM mirrors I ride this motorcycle daily and clean it weekly, it rides as good as it looks with no issues at all, everything is in good working order and can be ridden anywhere, Fly down, ride home. For your consideration. A 1979 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, has been setting since 1991 in a garage in Charleston , WV. Has 1991 CA plates on it. I am listing this for the owner, he moved here in 1991 and would not ride with a helmet. The bike is equipped with air forks , a fork brace, air shocks on the rear, and Honda line luggage. Do not know if the engine will turn over, most bodywork and fairing are in good condition and should cleanup pretty well. Title misplaced years ago.
