Basket case motorcycle mid-seat frame mod, 2 cyl.Included:-2nd overhead cam-extra set of shocks-extra gas tank (my best guess is from a kz1100)-some misc gaskets -new chain, clutch cable -Kawasaki tank decals-steel frame slugs for rebuilding the seat frame-DOM seat hoop -some other miscellaneous partsIt started, moved and stopped when I bought it, I just decided to make it a big cafe racer project that I simply don't have time to finish. Would make a great winter project for someone with a little welding and mechanical know-how. Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.

Looking at the pictures of Japanese firm Yamato's new Kawasaki Z1 you'd be hard pushed to tell it's not the real thing. But in fact it's a scale model only just over a foot long, made with incredible attention to detail with several years of development to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original 900cc Z1 of 1972. Using 3D scanning of real parts, the bike was scaled down to create this model, which has now gone on sale in Japan at an eye-watering £720 apiece.
