Kawasaki H2 750 1975 (1975)
I purchased this motorcycle in July 2009 and immediately started restoring it with many NOS parts. I’m an engineer by training and performed the majority of the work myself with the exception of some specialist services. The restoration was completed in October 2010 I've only put a handful of miles on the clock since the restoration due to a new family addition and work demands. Everything works as it should with the exception of a carburation issue - the engine idles extremely well, but hesitates in the midrange. Its something I just haven't had time to fix. The motorcycle was fully stripped-down and the following work was performed: Engine: Engine number: H2E 46186 New crankshaft - it was in its original kawasaki box and wrapper Barrels re-bored, honed and correctly chamfered (standard port timing) +0.5mm pistons fitted. New small end bearings Barrels and heads glass beaded. Crankcases cleaned using a lot of elbow grease (no bead blasting). Up for bid is a very nice 2008 Kawasaki Concours 14 with ABS. After a 20-year production run of the original ZG1000 Concours, Kawasaki introduced the ZG1400 as a 2008 model, and this new iteration represented a significant update in terms of power, handling and braking. There are numerous reviews and road tests of the Concours on the Internet, and I won’t attempt to detail this bike’s capabilities or virtues in this listing. However, one resource I refer potential bidders to is the Concours Owners Group (COG) website. The forums of that site will provide a wealth of data regarding this model, and also detailed product evaluations of the accessories I have added. This particular bike has been nicely and expensively upgraded for touring with a Sargent World Sport seat, Oxford Heaterz heated grips, National Cycle V-Stream aftermarket windscreen, Delkevic carbon-fiber silencer, Buell Ulysses footpegs (one inch lower than stock) and Advanced Sport Touring highway pegs. The stock seat, exhaust and footpegs will all be included with the sale. Current mileage is just under 21,000 miles, but may change as the bike is ridden during the course of the auction. The bike is in extremely good shape for its age, showing only minor wear from use. It has been well-maintained and is parked in a heated garage and connected to a smart charger when not being ridden. The only problem I am aware of is that both tire pressure monitors are inoperative, a common issue with these bikes. 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000, I have owned this bike since 1994, nearly 30 years. I have decided to sell because I don't ride it at all anymore and someone should enjoy this bike. It has sat unused for too long and needs to appreciated by a new owner. I have set a reserve that is very reasonable when considering all the extra parts you are getting. I had the bike tuned and running last summer, rode it 2X's and it has been sitting since. I tried to start bike yesterday, battery was dead, I tried kick starting it for about 15 minutes and gave up. I am done with messing with it. It will run with very little effort. I am selling a huge collection of parts with the bike as well. Everything goes as a package deal. Many original parts are included in sale. Bike comes with nearly all the parts to put it back to showroom stock if you choose to go that route except, handlebars, exhaust, and air cleaner. Bike is mainly stock with some bolt-ons: Vance and Hines exhaust, Dyna Ignition and coils, K&N Air filters, Braided Steel brake Lines, Corbin seat, etc. Engine internals are stock: only 19K miles on engine. I am positive of it. Bike is complete. It is painted with a very deep purple PPG custom color. looks black until you get it into sunlight, then you can see the candy color. Bike currently has spoked wheels on it, but comes with aluminum mag-style wheels. One of the rear wheels is from a Police KZ1000 and worth a few $$$'s. Dates for the events have been confirmed as 14th May and 2nd September.Pupils will not only be taught by World class instructors, the machinery available for use will be high-end Supersport machines from Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. The slip-on silencer requires no additional modifications: bolt on and go.Consistent power improvements throughout the rev range have been seen, with no adjustments to the fuelling, say Scorpion, with an average increase 3bhp.The new silencer has been acoustically developed to provide a greatly enhanced engine note. This means the bike will be as loud as the original in terms of a dB reading, but the exhaust note offers a deeper growl. However, removable baffles allow the rider to dramatically alter the tone of the exhaust by simply removing one bolt per silencer.

Battling against experienced racers, a muddy track and humorous rider-to-motorcycle ergonomics, I managed to outshine all of the racing glory at the nearby Infineon raceway by taking home the gold, shoes.
