French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Kawasaki Giving Away 820 Vehicles in Good Times Sales Event Promotion

Kawasaki is giving away a free 2011 Ninja 250R or Bayou 250 ATV at each of 820 participating dealerships across the U.S. as part of its “Good Times Sales Event” promotion. The contest also features a number of instant win prizes ranging from discounts on accessories and service to Green Day music downloads to one of four 2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaqurero cruisers.

Bonhams To Auction Bruce Smith Collection Of Original Illustrations

On October 20, Bonhams will be auctioning off a collection of original illustrations by Bruce Smith from the 1960s and 1970s. Each one will be signed by Smith on heavy cartridge paper. The collection is comprised of cutaway illustrations of a 1963 Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc, Chris Vincent’s 1964 BSA 650cc A65 Race Outfit, and a 1966 Greeves Racer, the largest of this series being 45cm x 62cm.
