Kawasaki Other description
2013 Kawasaki Z 1000, I bought this bike on a whim from eBay 2 weeks ago, but now that its arrived, I don't think its for me. I am 55 yo and owned a 1972 Z1A900 in the 70's, so thought this would be cool like that was but much newer technology. And it is, but the overall styling isn't my taste, so I decided that rather than ride it, sell immediately and buy a European bike instead. Its sitting in my garage with other bikes warm and dry seeking new owner. Absolutely new with 17 miles...that's how far it is from home to the gas station, DMV, and back. Don't need to sell. I think its priced very reasonably considering what I just paid 2 weeks ago, and suits someone that likes the aggressive look Japanese streetfighter. NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
Wrestling the Green Meanie
Tue, 03 Aug 2010A three cylinder, 750cc two-stroke contained in a double cradle, tubular frame with telescopic suspension made up the intimidating Kawasaki KR750, seen here ridden around the legendary Spa circuit. Remembering the KR750, named the 'Green Meanie', TT winner Mick Grant said: "The KR750 was not as bad as what people thought it was. It had a nice spread, with enormous power and mid-range torque.
2023 Kawasaki KLX230 S Review - First Ride
Wed, 14 Dec 2022Reducing the seat height without lowering expectations Credit: Photos by Kevin Wing Entry level dual-sport has for a very long time existed in the void between categories, particularly when you consider folks who are shorter in the inseam. We all need to start somewhere, but for most who did not grow up riding, or maybe started exclusively on street motorcycles, the reality is that the entry-level engine size is often combined with the inability to comfortably touch the ground at a stop. That’s enough to deter all but the most stubborn of vertically challenged riders.
