Kawasaki Other description

2010 Kawasaki Versys, A very well kept example of a low mileage Versys. You will not find any scratches or dents as it is in very nice condition all throughout. The engine performs excellent with zero issues and has a lot of usable torque right in the bottom end which accompanies this bike’s intent seemingly well. It is an enjoyable and fun bike to ride that would be perfect as all arounder, or, commuter. It also lends itself well to beginner riders because of an easy to manage power delivery and ergonomics position, yet, can still be very much appreciated as skills progress thanks to its overall versatility. Long service intervals keep costs down as well as high mpg ratings. You will not be disappointed with this clean Versys. Versatile, distinctive, affordable and just plain fun. Now and then, a clean-sheet idea that just plain works appears from out of nowhere, and everybody wonders why nobody thought of it before … That’s the Kawasaki Versys. Following its debut just a couple of years ago, the world’s motorcycle press unanimously embraced the Versys’ unique combination of utility, versatility, affordability and just plain fun — and they haven’t stopped singing its praises. Motorcyclist magazine named it “Motorcycle of the Year,” and the Versys made top ten lists around the world. Luckily, the brains at Kawasaki who dreamed up the Versys are not afraid to mess with success, so for 2010, there’s even more to love.

Mon, 05 May 2014

Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The provisional list includes 27 riders riding motorcycles from nine different manufacturers. Of these riders, 12 are riding in the new EVO sub-category which limits engine upgrades and electronics to Superstock class rules.
