Kawasaki Other description
2010 Kawasaki Concours ABS with 26k miles. Awesome powerful bike with excellent stopping power with ABS and good handling on slippy roads with traction control, and seating position which allows fantastic visibility, with electronically adjustable windshield.
The bike is in excellent condition, and adult driven for commuting 37 miles to work. It has gone down on the right side at standstill and there is very minor damage with a slight crack in the bottom plastic valance and some scratches to the lower fairing, also there are some marks on both panniers from shoes mounting and dismounting and a small scuff mark on the front fender. The paintwork otherwise is in excellent condition, as she has been garaged, polished twice a year and I am the second owner from new when I purchased this in 2012. Mechanically the bike is excellent. All accessories on the bike are included (Bead rider, handle grips, ram mount), and all the additional parts for the Garmin GPS will be sent as well, along with the owners manual and back up non battery KIPASS key. Major services have been done through the garage and I have changed spark plugs, oil and filters on a regular basis myself. I have a set of Angel Ride instructional DVD's for self maintenance which can be included at no cost if required. Battery was replaced last year and there is a trickle charger output installed, tires are Pilot PR3's with about 1k miles on them. I will help with shipping, however all shipping costs are buyers responsibility. Great bike at below book value. A lot of fun! |

Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class
Mon, 07 Jan 2013The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.
