Ryan Villopoto Out For 2014 Motocross Title Defense
Tue, 06 May 2014Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto will be unable to defend his 2013 AMA Pro Motocross Championship title after opting to get knee surgery to fix a lingering injury. Villopoto battled with the knee issue throughout the Monster Energy Supercross season, and after consulting his medical team, it was decided he will undergo surgery on his knee as soon as possible. Monster Energy Kawasaki has signed the 2013 Canadian Monster Energy Motocross Nationals Champion Brett Metcalfe to join Jake Weimer for the 2014 AMA Pro Motocross season.

Tue, 29 May 2012Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. EnduroCross Announces Rookies Class Instruction With Destry Abbott
Thu, 15 May 2014Three rounds of the 2014 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship will feature a special rookies class led by none other than Destry Abbott. These one-hour, on-track instructional sessions will take place on the Friday nights before the Sacramento, Atlanta and Salt Lake City events. So the first one is scheduled for Friday, June 20th prior to the Sacramento event.
