2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

Today the motorcycle press descended upon the Long Beach Convention Center to attend media day at the annual International Motorcycle Show. After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. It appears as if Kawasaki is gearing up to launch a revised version of its ZX-14 Ninja. We already showed you a video teaser featuring a crop-circle-like number 14 in a farmer’s field. Now we’ve unearthed a new video that includes the sound of a large-displacement inline-Four motorcycle engine revving out, which you can see after the jump.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Kawasaki Z1000

Following the launch of the heavily revised 2014 Ninja 1000 ABS (reviewed here) comes a not-so-surprising, equally revised Z1000 for 2014. Boasting a plethora of performance upgrades the new Z also comes to the party in new Sugomi style. According to Kawasaki, sugomi “describes the intense aura or energy given off by a person or object of greatness and felt by the viewer.
