Kawasaki Other description
**SHIPPING INFO** I shipped this from California to Richmond, Va and it cost me about $650. DO NOT BID IF YOU CAN NOT SHIP/ PICK UP. That being said. This is a great bike. It was my first and I am incredibly sad to see her go. I put a lot of highway miles on her, many a road trip down the coast. This is the best "hybrid" style bike I've seen and the most comfortable sport-tuned one I've ever ridden. The stance maintains an aggressive feel, but if you shift your weight forward just a little, your can sit more upright and take strain off of your back. I couldn't have asked for a better all-around bike. California model, Air cooled, carbureted, 4 cylinder. plenty of get-up-and-go. my best mpg so far has been about 70 driving down the middle east coast towards the OBX. This thing will run forever if it's taken care of. Speaking of taking care of, I think there are some issues that need to be addressed mechanically, it runs fine, but i can tell the intake boots on the carbs need to be replaced. I know very little about the signs and symptoms of motorcycle problems, but I know it runs fine and hasn't given me any issues. |

Kawasaki has overhauled its fast and smooth ZX-14, adding a bigger and more powerful engine that promises to outgun the venerable ’Busa. I just spent a day hammering the new ZX-14R In Las Vegas, beginning with a blast through the desert and ending with several runs down the quarter-mile dragstrip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Japan Needs Your Help
Thu, 17 Mar 2011By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
