2001 Kawasaki Zr-7 , ZR 7S in mint condition, everything is stock. Bike driven very little simply because of no time. Bought in 2002 with 4000 miles on it and it has 14,000 now. That's 10,000 miles over 11 years or less than 1000 miles per year. One year ago preventative maintenance: carb cleaned and new carb boots and gaskets installed (560$) with new spark plugs and oil and filter change. Runs great. New tires (400$) only 600 miles ago. FIM Updates Superbike Racing Homologation Lists for 2013

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.

Attack Performance Announces MotoGP CRT Effort

Attack Performance officially announced it will race in the 2012 U.S. Grand Prix and Indianapolis Grand Prix on a Kawasaki-powered Claiming Rule Team machine. Reports the Huntington Beach, Calif., racing parts manufacturer was granted a wild card to the two American MotoGP rounds surfaced last week, the AMA Pro Racing regular officially confirmed the news just as the 2012 MotoGP World Championship got under way.

Kawasaki Issues Recall on Unauthorized Concours 14 Police Models

Kawasaki announced a recall on 44 2012-2013 Concours 14 potentially faulty motorcycles allegedly converted for police use without the manufacturer’s consent. Back in early 2012, Kawasaki announced a recall on 278 2009-2012 Concours 14 police motorcycles because the add-on equipment installed by Idaho-based Beaudry Motors suffered electrical problems. According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.
