Kawasaki Other description

I have had a lot of spam emails from Craig's List. I have tightened our spam filter to the point where it is easy to catch emails that are not spam. Please include your name and phone number in the email. This way it will not get spammed. If you do not include your name and phone number, odds are it will be spammed and I will never see your email. If you prefer not to call, please try to make your email a little more detailed so it will not get spammed. If you do not hear from me within a couple days you may want to call me and make sure that I received your email. This is a 1999 Kawasaki VN1500 Nomad. The bike is missing the left and right side covers for the air cleaners (see picture 2). The headlamp is also missing (see picture 1). The bike does not have the Vance and Hines exhaust system on it (see picture 3). It has been taken off of the bike. The speedometer is also missing. The right floorboard is broken a little at the top with the rear brake pedal being pushed over a little. The right turn signal is taped into place. The left side cover is there but it is missing the right (see picture 4). There are no saddlebags on the bike. My parts guys hooked the Kawasaki up to a jump box to see if they could get the engine to turn over. The engine did turn over freely. Right now this bike has a Kentucky Salvage certificate. Once you have the bike in inspected and ran through auto theft in Delaware you will receive a Delaware Reconstructed title. This bike looks to be fairly complete and would make a good project bike. If you are interested in this bike please email, or call Sue at and use reference number 0070.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
