Kawasaki Other description

Up for sale is a 1983 Kawasaki KZ550 A4 manufactured in Japan 7/82. This bike comes with a clear open title. This bike is in original survivor condition. This bike is in overall good condition for being 30 years old. The paint on the tail cowl is flaking and fading but the rest of the paint is in good condition. The bike is not currently running. The mileage is 40,685 on the odometer. The shocks have some surface rust.  The hard to find original exhaust is in very nice condition as shown in the photos. The seat is in good condition with some small blemishes at the bottom where the pan bends, the original Kawasaki parts I.D tag is still on the underside. The tires are weather checked and should be replaced. The owners manual is included as shown. The brakes still work good and the bike static shifts through the gears. The key is included and works in all the keyholes, seat, ignition, gas cap and helmet locks. The carbs seem fairly clean, they open and close when the throttle is turned. Please email with any questions or concerns you may have before the auction ends, I am happy to answer any questions you may have. I will not crate or ship the bike, shipping and all associated costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I can hold the bike for a few weeks while you make shipping arrangements. I require a $250 deposit through paypal at auction end to hold the bike and the balance to be paid within 7 days of sale end. I accept bank wire transfer or cash for the final payment. I prefer not to use paypal for final payment as the fees are too high. This is a nice fairly rare bike that could easily be ready for next spring with a little work, don't miss out. Thank you and good luck bidding.

Former F1 Champ Fittipaldi Producing Limited Edition Kawasaki ZX-10R

Fri, 13 Jul 2012

Emerson Fittipaldi is probably best known for his four-wheel racing career which include two Formula One World Championships, a CART racing title and two Indy 500 victories. What might be less known, at least outside of his native Brazil perhaps, is Fittipaldi owns a pair of Kawasaki motorcycle dealerships. The 65-year-old former racer and his team has produced a limited edition run of 50 Kawasaki ZX-10R sportbikes in the black and gold colors of his 1972 F1 Championship-winning John Player Lotus 72 car.

2010 Kawasaki KLX110 Launch

Mon, 09 Nov 2009

The last time I rode one of Kawasaki’s 110cc MX bikes, I was banging elbows with Gary Nixon in a journo race on Max Yasgers, I mean Mertens Dairy farm in beautiful Sonoma, California. Battling against experienced racers, a muddy track and humorous rider-to-motorcycle ergonomics, I managed to outshine all of the racing glory at the nearby Infineon raceway by taking home the gold, shoes. Top prize for endangering my life in a battle of laughter and pocket-sized Singles was a pair of size 13 sneakers spray painted gold.
