Kawasaki Other description

Completely  sorted GPz.  Very  rare. Original mirrors, grips, turn signals, etc.

Carbs dialed in on Dyno.  Runs  better than many fuel injected bikes.

Progressive suspension front and rear.

New chain and sprockets.

Good Dunlop tires.

Kerker exhaust

I suspect some paint work on fairing and front fender has been done, but looks good.

I have the stock exhaust and chain guard.

Thank you.

Round three of the Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) will run in conjunction with the FMF California Classic, which runs from April 9 through April 13, with both WMX motos taking place on Sunday. Max Biaggi won the opening race to the 2012 World Superbike Championship while defending champion Carlos Checa came back from a high-speed crash in the first race to win the second at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. Reigning champion Checa of Althea Ducati had a stunning high-side crash while leading on the sixth lap of Race One. The WSBK paddock was already in shock with the death of 17-year-old Oscar McIntyre in the Superstock 600 race the day before but thankfully Checa was not seriously injured.

Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Z1

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ground-breaking Kawasaki Z1 which made its public debut in 1972, becoming what many would regard as the world’s first superbike. Kawasaki’s first large-capacity four-stroke multi-cylinder motorcycle took center stage at the 1972  IFMA, the precursor to the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany. Together with the Honda CB750, the Kawasaki Z1 helped spearhead the popularity of the Japanese Inline-Four.
