You are bidding on a "VERY NICE NON ABUSED, NON RACED CALIFORNIA" 1982 GPZ 750 Kawasaki with 48K mostly highway miles, always garaged, serviced and well maintained. The bike has been a daily driver for work most of its life and never ran hard or raced.

The bike has been owned by both Law Enforcement and Military personnel and shows pride of ownership. The bike is shown with after market pipes, shocks, blinkers and modified rear pegs.

I have collected the following stock parts, complete exhaust system, shocks, rear peg assembly, blinkers, hand rails and luggage bracket. I also have the original under the seat booklet and service manual.

The bike is being sold as is and without warranty, the buyer is responsible for arranging pickup. A non refundable $500.00 deposit is required at end of auction via PayPal and the balance is due within 48 hours. Please do not bid if you do not have 100% rating. Thank you and good luck.

Please Note: Seller has the right and is offering the bike for sale locally and therefore is able to stop auction at anytime.

Tested: Maxxis Supermaxx Diamond

Fri, 23 Sep 2011

Well Maxxis were bang on with their mileage claims, 6500 miles on the rear and it looks as though there is another 1000. Not bad at all for a set of tyres that cost less than £200. Having lived with the Supermaxx’s Diamonds over the past few months the best thing about these tyres is the mileage range they offer vs cost.

ZX-10R. Worth the weight?

Thu, 18 Nov 2010

The whisper on pit lane is that 2011 will be a good year for the green K. Our moles within the racing circles tell us that apart from more power and less weight (always handy), the new ZX-10R's main advantage is not these two factors but rather its improved weight distribution, weight transference qualities and grip levels. Studying Tom Syke's lap time data from Kawasaki's public test sessions it seems it's much easier for him to maintain consistent fast lap times back-to-back over the whole range of tyre degradation and fuel load changes.

Steam Punk Bike

Wed, 19 Jan 2011

This steam-punk inspired bike is the work of LA based sculptor and, er, free thinker, Baron Margo. From what we can work out is uses an early eighties air-cooled Z1000 Kawasaki as a base and is cloaked in this hand beaten alloy and copper bodywork. Can’t imagine it’s much fun in a cross wind, though.
