Up for auction is my 1978 KZ1000A2. 31,1XX miles believed to be original miles. Engine Number: KZT00AE-069280 Frame Number: KZT00A-516123. Engine runs strong, shifts, and brakes as it should. No smoke. Everything works. Carbs have been rebuilt and tuned. Petcock rebuilt. Here is some additional information: Accel Coils 4 into 1 exhaust Brand new paint 95% tread on tires New emblems This is an unrestored bike but is very presentable. The 77&78 KZ 1000's are quickly becoming collector bikes as they are much like the Z1 900's with 112 more cc s. $500 Deposit due at the end of auction. 2013-2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Faces More Brake Issues

Kawasaki Issues Recall on Unauthorized Concours 14 Police Models
Wed, 28 Aug 2013Kawasaki announced a recall on 44 2012-2013 Concours 14 potentially faulty motorcycles allegedly converted for police use without the manufacturer’s consent. Back in early 2012, Kawasaki announced a recall on 278 2009-2012 Concours 14 police motorcycles because the add-on equipment installed by Idaho-based Beaudry Motors suffered electrical problems. According to the recall documents, the electrical system installed by Beaudry could overload the charging circuit between the regulator and the two batteries and eventually blow the main fuse.
