Kawasaki Other description

 I'm selling my 1974 Kawasaki G5 100 Enduro Motorcycle.
She's Titled and CA Street Legal. I've been restoring her little by little for a few years now and she's in good running condition. I've been planning on restoring her fully but I can't afford to keep her anymore and need to sell her ASAP.

She's a strong little bike that you can ride around town as-is or take and use as your own restoration project! These little bikes are hard to find, but their very popular here in SoCal.
I'm selling her AS IS and NO RETURNS after purchase! So for more information about the bike, please contact me and I can go over all the work I've put into her and answer any questions you might have.

Below is a list of the work I've done so far:

  • Rebuilt Clutch, Carb, Top-End, Piston, Exhaust and Shocks.
  • Powder Coated various parts inc: Swing Arm, Exhaust, Headlight Bucket and Ears, Brush Guard and more (have not powder coated the entire frame yet)
  • Replaced all seals on the Rotary and Oil Pump Assembly
  • New Lights, Wiring, Exhaust System, Tires, Battery, Points and Condensers

Everything works great on her and she's 100% street legal and ride-able.
Below is a list of some of the areas I didn't get to restore completely:
  • The gears will eventually need rebuilt as she pops out of gear from time to time, but she shifts fine and there's no grinding.
  • Front and Rear fenders are old and faded, will need repainted.
  • She's a 1974 bike so the chrome and aluminum part have minor oxidation.
  • The tank's has surface rust on the top and the paint is faded but the inside is fine.

I will also include any extra parts I have that you might want in your purchase at the time of pickup.

LOCAL PICKUP PREFERRED!

Shipping and or Transporting must be arranged and paid for buy buyer.

2010 Kawasaki KLX110 Launch

Mon, 09 Nov 2009

The last time I rode one of Kawasaki’s 110cc MX bikes, I was banging elbows with Gary Nixon in a journo race on Max Yasgers, I mean Mertens Dairy farm in beautiful Sonoma, California. Battling against experienced racers, a muddy track and humorous rider-to-motorcycle ergonomics, I managed to outshine all of the racing glory at the nearby Infineon raceway by taking home the gold, shoes. Top prize for endangering my life in a battle of laughter and pocket-sized Singles was a pair of size 13 sneakers spray painted gold.

2010 Kawasaki Concours 14 Traction Control [video]

Thu, 29 Oct 2009

With the new Concours, Kawi created its first traction control system. Unlike the ABS, the rider can disable or enable KTRC, and can do so on the fly. The new TC system isn’t level selectable, like, say, Ducati’s DTC, and it isn’t intended to allow a rider to go faster on their Connie.

Kawasaki Patents Design for Naked Single

Wed, 05 Mar 2014

Kawasaki has registered a design patent for what appears to be a naked version of its recently revealed 250cc single-cylinder Ninja RR Mono. While the Ninja RR Mono (also known in some markets as the Ninja 250SL) is produced for the Asian market, the new design is registered with the European Union’s Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, making it more likely to arrive in western markets. The detailed design renderings reveal many clues indicating this is a naked version of the RR Mono.
