Classic Steve McQueen era Kawasaki F11 250 Enduro time capsule Vin # F1129880 w/ matching numbers. Starts right up and rides great. 2800 miles. Original paint. The bike has had one owner besides myself and I planned to fully restore it but never get to it. It was garage kept but here in the Northwest metal gets a little surface rust from the condensation as you can see in the pictures. The pictures pretty much say it all. Mechanically and structurally solid with no functional issues. The things that need attention are front tire has the start of some storage separation near rim but is safely ridable as is, speedometer cable is separated from hub (done by me oops), the air filter was misplaced, the turn signal electrical needs to be hooked up, air intake side trim piece missing. Thats about all I can see. Lots of torque, shifts nice, good balance and shock absorption. Good travel in forks. Have original title and original owners manual. Pick up or shipping the responsibility of buyer. Arrangements can be discussed. Payment must be received within 48 hours of auction end. Kawasaki to Release New KLR650S Variant for 2023 (UPDATED)
Tue, 12 Jul 2022Variant appears in Australia certifications Kawasaki surprised us all a year ago when it brought back the KLR650, resurrecting the venerable adventure bike with fuel injection, updated styling, and a new one-piece frame. For the U.S., the third-generation KLR650 was available in a few different flavors, the base model, the Traveler model with a top case and the Adventure model with side cases, auxiliary lighting and engine guards, not to mention ABS versions of the base and Adventure models. Kawasaki Australia offered two versions for 2022, the KLR650 (model code KL650F) and the KLR650 Adventure (model code KL650H).
WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).
