Kawasaki Other description

Hello,

I am selling this for a friend,it was her dads and he passed away recently.Just helping her to clean out the garage.I am no expert on this era of cycles but it looks as it has been stored inside. It's missing the airbox, the seat as a tear in it and the key for the fuel tank is missing so I don't know the condition inside the fuel tank. This bike is being sold as a parts bike because she does not have a title.(IF THIS IS A PROBLEM PLEASE DONT BID ON IT,AS THERE IS NO CHANCE OF HER GETTING ONE,I HAD TO LIST IT AS A CLEAR TITLE BECAUSE THATS THE ONLY CHOICE I HAD WITH EBAY.)It will come with a bill of sale.Compression feels good and it look's original and 90% complete. It would be a great restoration bike or a parts bike.Buyer would have to pick in Burlington, iowa no shipping available.IF YOU CANT PICK UP PLEASE DONT BID.If you have any question's please ask before bidding. You can reach me at 319-524-6237 after 7:30 pm central time. This is a 40 year bike so it does show wear and tear.

Thanks for looking

2014 AMA Supercross – Houston Results

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

Ryan Villopoto ran mostly unchallenged for his fourth win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, taking advantage of an early spill by Ryan Dungey. The win strengthens Villopoto’s hold on the points lead as the Kawasaki rider seeks his fourth-consecutive championship. Villopoto took the holeshot in the Houston main event and never looked back, leading all 20 laps for the win.

Kawasaki Producing 599cc 2013 Ninja ZX-6R for Japanese Racing Homologation

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

When Kawasaki announced it was upping the engine displacement for the Ninja ZX-6R to 636cc, the immediate question on many Team Green fans’ minds was what it would mean for the company’s supersport racing efforts. Kenan Sofuloglu won the 2012 World Supersport Championship on a Kawasaki ZX-6R, but under the regulations, he may not be allowed to defend his title next season on the 2013 model as homologation requirements in Supersport racing series limit Inline-Fours to displacements smaller than 600cc. Fear not however, as Kawasaki will be producing a special version of the ZX-6R with an engine displacement of 599cc, the same as the 2012 version.

WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).
