Kawasaki Other description

This Auction is for a very clean 1973 Kawasaki G5 100 Enduro. This is another bike that was part of my father collection and time to let somebody else enjoy it like he has over all the years.

The bike is very clean for it age. Bike does run. Paint on the bike is very nice, and does have some light scratches. Inside of gas tank is very clean, and do not see any rust. Chrome is nice on the bike. Tires are brand new. Throttle feels good, brakes work good. All around very nice!! The lights do work on the bike, but it will need a battery.  The pictures do not give this bike justice for how clean and nice it is. The bike only comes with a bill of sale from me, as it does not have title. If you have any questions please feel free to email me and i can give you more pictures or answer any questions you may have. This bike is sold as is all sales final. The buyer is responsible for shipping or can pick the bike up in person if they desire. Payment is due within 3 days by paypal or again paid in cash when picking the bike up in person.

Snowjob

Sun, 05 Feb 2012

Is the current weather causing your commute a bit of problem? Sounds like a job for the Snowjob. Pictured here using a Kawasaki, the Snowjob conversion system turns your motorcycle into a jumping, wheelieing snowcycle in less than four hours. Derek Hine designed the Snowjob back in '73, but it looks like it could be just as handy today.

Old Dog, New Tricks: Tackling The LA-Barstow To Vegas Dual-Sport Ride

Mon, 05 Dec 2022

Joining the 39th running of the famed event on a Ducati DesertX and a Kawasaki KLX300 Credit: Photos by Cait Maher, Evans Brasfield, Grumpy, and Ryan Adams Let’s be honest, dual-sport motorcycles aren’t really designed for touring, despite my best efforts ( here and here). The bikes are merely street-legal dirt bikes without much accommodation for creature comfort. So, spending 220-ish miles flat in the saddle from Las Vegas, NV to Palmdale, CA, mostly on Interstate 15, is a platform for cataloging discomforts, and after riding approximately 360 miles, mostly off road over the two previous days, my aches-and-pains were legion.
