Frame VIN F242422
Engine Serial # 402579
Clear Arizona Title

This all stock bike was restored between 1985-1986.

The engine was gone through and the cases were painted then clear coated for display. Fluids were added for testing and then drained. It has not had any oil, or gas put in it since then. There are some minor scratches under the paint and clear of the side cases. You should be able to see them in the pics.

The engine has strong compression and good spark.

The wheel hubs were also clear coated. Dunlop Universal Trials tire on the front 3.25x19. Cheng Chino 4.00x18 on the back. The back tire is in good shape looks new as of the 1980s the front has some wear maybe 30%. There are minor chrome nicks in the rims. I tried to show them in the pics.

The fenders, dampener, and seat all look great. I dont know if the seat cover is original but its been on there since the mid 80s.

The tank paint is perfect. Overall the bike is very clean. I have never ran the bike since I owned. It was display only in my private collection. Feel free to ask any questions or message me for an additional 50 pictures. Email with questions prior to bidding because bike is sold as-is

Winner has 5 days to pay and $500 deposit with paypal after winning. Payment with cashiers check or bank transfer. I can store it for 2-3 weeks awaiting transport. Arizona title ready for transfer

Japanese jokes: Kawasaki introduced the "new" sports bike Ninja ZX-6R

Thu, 11 Oct 2018

The quotation marks are not accidental - the old ZX-6R is hidden under another dress. However, there are still some innovations. The first thing the 2019 sportbike differs from its predecessor, which debuted in 2013, has completely different lining and LED optics in the spirit of the younger Ninja 400.

Kawasaki Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Z1

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the ground-breaking Kawasaki Z1 which made its public debut in 1972, becoming what many would regard as the world’s first superbike. Kawasaki’s first large-capacity four-stroke multi-cylinder motorcycle took center stage at the 1972  IFMA, the precursor to the INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany. Together with the Honda CB750, the Kawasaki Z1 helped spearhead the popularity of the Japanese Inline-Four.

Jeremy Toye Wins 92nd Running Of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

On his first attempt at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, road racer Jeremy Toye set a record in the premiere Open Class to win the category aboard a 2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R, celebrating the 30th year of the legendary Ninja brand. Prior to setting foot on the hill, Toye was confident he could get among the class leaders, aiming to beat the outright Pikes Peak motorcycle record, which was set by Carlin Dunne in 2012 with a time of 9:52.819. While that record remains intact, Toye was able to set a time of 9:58.687 to win the Open Class, finishing 6sec ahead of his closest rival, Fabrice Lambert aboard a Ducati.
