Zx-9r First Edition Collector Super Bike Green 1 Owner *mint* on 2040-motos
Kawasaki Ninja tech info
Kawasaki Ninja description
With much consideration and some hesitation I am offering my first year ZX-9R superbike. I am the original owner. The bike has 3,809 miles as of now. I ordered this bike new in1994 in the green color scheme which was in Higher demand then the red, so I had to wait for it to arrive. I bought it at Delray Kawasaki in south Florida. I rode the bike 500 miles and brought it back to the dealer for its required break-in service. I had the dealer order a Muzzy exhaust and the correct jet kit for the carbs. These were installed at that time. This was the only company at the time that made a performance exhaust for the bike. Muzzy racing designed it just for the new ZX-9. It was recommended by the senior tech, at the dealership. What a fantastic difference it made in increased performance and sound. Plus an extra 10 or 15 H.P, doesn't hurt anything. The stock four into one pipe was very quiet. I still have the factory exhaust as well, in great condition. It only has 500 miles on it. I paid $9,841.00 out the door when I purchased it. Then brought it back for the upgrades which cost another $904.93. So I had $10,745.93 in it, almost $11,000. and that was almost 20 years ago. I have all the original documents and they are in my name. I think the quality was much better then. Everything is all plastic nowadays. It is a stout machine with amazing power. It has the dual ram air intakes under the headlight. This thing looks like its going 100 mph. standing still. It has never been left outside over night or been rained on. I would say near mint condition for its age. It has been garaged and covered since day one. It still has the original tire on the front. I replaced the rear last year because it got a nail in it but it still had decent tread on it. I Don't trust tire plugs. It has a new gell cell battery not a cheapy. It even has the original handle grips, which are in excellent condition. Anyway it is a great bike in almost brand new condition. This bike is certainly collector worthy. I am not sure if there is another one anywhere this nice. If you always wanted one of these when they first came out here is your chance. The miles are 100% accurate and original. I know because I am the only rider its ever had. Call me if you have any questions. If you have zero feedback please call me before you bid. Only serious bidders please. I don't want to end the auction early so bid to win and Good Luck!!Thanks-Hal 912-429-9600
