Kawasaki Ninja description
2010 Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10R Sportbike Ninja 1000cc, 4 cyl engine continues to crank out the kind of straight shortening power. That leaves other liter bikes in its wake. Fed by a bank of four 43mm Keihin throttle bodies with 2 injectors per cylinder And bristling with sixteen titanium valves, the ZX 10R uses a highly advanced Kawasaki Ignition Management System to dole out all that power with max control. Very compact, narrow and lightweight design makes it possible to position The engine perfectly within the chassis for optimal weight distribution 1 piece upper crankcase and cylinder casting saves weight and offers max rigidity Oil is routed through channels milled into the cases on various parts of the engine, Eliminating external oil lines and reducing weight Stacked, triangular layout of crank axis, input shaft and output shaft reduces engine length And aids mass centralization for quick handling Lightweight crankshaft maintains the same inertial moment as a heavier design But saves about 2lbs compared to a conventional crank Low friction oil pump reduction ratio reduces parasitic power loss Qualified buyers may be eligible for Financing, Nationwide Shipping and Extended Warranty.

2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R – 170 hp At The Wheel!
Fri, 12 Nov 2010A new, somewhat clandestine, video surfaced on YouTube just today revealing that Kawasaki’s new 2011 ZX-10R produces over 170 hp at the rear wheel in stock trim. Taking this at face value, that’s at least 17 hp more than the 2010 ZX-10R produced for us in our 2010 Literbike Shootout. This puts the new big Ninja within swinging distance of BMW’s S1000RR, that in the same shootout gave us just under 176 hp.
Sykes Staying with Kawasaki Through 2016 WSBK Season
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes has signed a contract extension with Kawasaki to see him continue to ride for Team Green through the 2016 season. Sykes, who currently holds a 44-point lead over Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli with three rounds remaining in the season, has been with Kawasaki since 2010. Since hopping on board the Ninja ZX-10R superbike, Sykes has won 22 WSBK races and holds a record for 23 Superpoles in the current qualifying format.
2014 WSBK – Sepang Results
Mon, 09 Jun 2014The first ever World Superbike round in Malaysia offered a plenty of drama including both factory Kawasaki riders crashing out on the first lap, a red flagged second race and an overall impressive outing by Aprilia. Under pressure for his lack of results so far this season, Marco Melandri impressed, earning the double for his first career wins on the RSV4 Factory. Aprilia riders led every lap in both races at Sepang, including the red-flagged initial start for Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli joining his teammate on the podium with a pair of second-place finishes.
