Bike is seldom ridden. I take it around the block and through town about twice a month to keep it fresh. Other than that it sits in the garage. Great mechanical condition. It was knocked over in a parking lot at my friends apartment about 3yrs ago. There are some minor scuffs on the right side from that. I took it to a local shop and he said for $500 he would replace the grip, peg and cover and buff the plastic. It wasn't bad enough to me so it is still that way. You can buy new plastics for that much. There are some bubbles in the clear coat on the rear seat cowl. There is a small chip on the left side of the tank from a lawnmower rock. Not a dent just a small chip. The bike is as good mechanically as a new one. I haven't ridden it much since August 2011 when I found out my wife was pregnant. Just decided to clean out the garage and let it go. Make me an intelligent offer and its yours. You will not be disappointed. It is the All Green color scheme which is rare. The bike sells itself. 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Recalled for Engine Stalling Issues
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 because of a risk of the engine stalling during deceleration. No recall has yet been posted for the U.S. though the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website, though members of the KawasakiNinja300 forum report they received letters from Kawasaki Motor Corps.
Villopoto to Miss 2012 AMA Motocross Season
Tue, 24 Apr 2012Reigning champion Ryan Villopoto will not compete in the 2012 AMA Motocross Championship after injuring his knee at the recent Supercross race in Seattle, Wash. Villopoto has won the last three indoor and outdoor championships, capturing the 2011 AMA Motocross title as well as the 2011 and 2012 AMA Supercross titles. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider will not be able to stretch that run into a fourth consecutive title.
Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
