Kawasaki Ninja description

UP FOR AUCTION IS A ONCE IN A LIFE TIME FIND .IT IS A 2002 KAWASAKI NINJA WITH LESS THEN 10 MILES AND MINUTES LOOK AT PICS. IF THIS WAS A 1974 HONDA CT70 TRAIL 70 I WOULD KEEP IT THAT WAS MY FIRST BIKE AND ALWAYS WANTED ANOTHER FOR MEMORIES . LETS GET BACK TO THE NINJA I GOT IT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHO CAME TO ME AND ASK IF I WANTED A MOTORCYCLE SINCE HE NEW I WAS INTO CARS AND SLOT CARS ETC. I ASKED HIM WHAT IT WAS AND HE TOLD ME WHEN I ASKED THE MILEAGE THATS WHEN IT GOT INTERESTING HE SAID AROUND 8 AND SAID 8000 AND HE SAID NO ONLY  8. HE BOUGHT IT IN 2002 NEVER RIDING A STREET BIKE .HE BROUGHT IT HOME IN THE BACK OF HIS TRUCK AND TOOK IT FOR A RIDE AND HE SAID IT SCARED HIM AND HE DIDNT WANT ANY PARTS OF IT . HE DRAINED THHE FLUIDS RAN THE GAS OUT CARBS  EXCEPT OIL AND THATS WHERE IT SAT FOR 11 YEARS . IN A GARAGE UNDER A COVER. TTHE ONLY  THING WRONG ON THE BIKE IS THE FRONT BLINKER RUBBER GROMMETTS THAT SLIDE IN PLASTIC. THEY ARE BRITTLE AND IT NEEDS NEW ONES. IT STILL HAS THE WHITE LUBE ON CHAIN .THE ONLY THING I DID WAS WIPE OFF THE DUST.I AM NOT A MOTORCYCLE GUY BUT WILL LOOK AND CHECK ANYTHING YOU NEED ME TO .THIS IS AN UNBELIEVABLE FIND AND WOULD LOOK NICE IN SOMEONES COLLECTION.  ALL THE NUBS ARE STILL ON THE TIRES. WILL BE LISTING LOCALLY AND RESERVE RIGHT TO SELL ANY QUESTIONS CALL. .THERE IS NOT ANOTHER ONE LIKE THIS AROUND 434 547 8890

Had a request for a picture of the inside the gas tank so why I was doing that I added inside crankcase , under seat , tire nubs will try to get some in sunlight as soon as it stops raining.

. I BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY FOR THE BIKE , I CRANKED IT TO MAKE SURE IT WAS FREE  ,THEN  I PUT  A LITTLE GAS INTHE  TANK PUT IT ON RESERVE AND IT STARTED RIGHT UP SOUNDS GREAT . ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL 434 547 8890

2024 Kawasaki Z500 SE Review – First Ride

Tue, 14 May 2024

Displacement creeps alongside tech and styling updates Photos by Kevin Wing Every rider can fondly recall their first street motorcycle. Maybe it was a used 1980s “Honda Davidson” cruiser with miles of wear and tear. Or perhaps it was a shiny new lightweight sport bike, candy coated and bright like a Skittle.

EICMA 2011: Kawasaki Versys 1000 Not Coming to U.S.

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

While Kawasaki unveiled its Versys 1000 at EICMA, don’t expect to see it on American roadways any time soon (edit: but if you live north of the border in Canada you’re in luck, as it will offered for CN$13,999, a bit higher than the Z1000 but the same price as the Ninja 1000): What will we be missing? A bigger, badder version of the original Kawasaki Versys seems to be the answer. “Created as the long-awaited big brother of Kawasaki’s mid-size any-road street surfer, the new Versys 1000 is designed to enable the greatest riding enjoyment in the widest variety of street riding situations,” Kawasaki Motors Europe says in a release.

2013 Ninjas in New York

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

In a very untraditional move, Kawasaki is readying to assail New York’s Times Square on September 13, with 2013 model Ninjas. A day-long, two-block party on Broadway, from West 45th to West 47th Streets, will celebrate the global debut of the new Ninjas with music, giveaways and celebrity guests. For those who cannot make it to the Big Apple, Kawasaki will be live streaming the “Ninja Times Square Takeover” on the Kawasaki.com website from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
