My 2010 Suzuki 650R is in like new condition but with a salvage title ... damage to the fender, front and side farings (removed after the picture was taken). These faring parts have been ordered and the bike will be completely ready for pickup before Christmas. Again, the damage is purely cosmetic (includes the parts mentioned above). It was ridden a short distance just last week. This is a great FAST bike for anywhere you want to go. Buyer is responsible for shipping, however, I can assist with loading + securing the load. Note: I also have a 1989 Honda Pacific Coast in near PERFECT condition and a Honda ST1100 in pristine condition. I will consider all fair offers and/or trades (cars, trucks, bikes) or I'll keep it until the weather gets warmer. Now is the right time to get an awesome bike for very reasonable price. Estate of Gary Nixon Up For Auction June 16, 2012
Thu, 24 May 2012The estate of legendary motorcycle racer and all around fun guy, Gary Nixon, will go on auction June 16,2012, in York, PA. Nixon passed in August, 2011, while recovering from heart surgery. A two-time AMA Grand National Champion (1967 – ’68), Nixon was an accomplished flattrack and road racer. He was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1998.
Results From Day 1 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island
Mon, 17 Feb 2014Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
Kawasaki Confirms New Z1000 Arriving at 2013 EICMA Show
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Kawasaki confirmed it will introduce a new Z1000 on Nov. 5 during the 2013 EICMA show in Milan. Team Green has been running a teaser campaign for the new Z for a couple of weeks now, so this isn’t exactly surprising news, except to confirm the new model will continue to use the Z1000 designation.
