Willing to deliver up to a few hundred miles for a fee. Selling because I haven't had a chance to ride it as much since my son was born, and I think it just needs a good home at this point. Meticulously maintained by only me, (I'm a mechanic by trade), new front and rear brake pads last month. Oil is fresh (changed every 2000 miles with full synthetic/new filter), clean calipers and chain/sprocket. Proper break in done when new. New tires with about 1,500 miles. 'Michelin Pilot Road 4' It's obviously never been dropped, one owner, adult owned and always well taken care of. No damage on bike. It was my daily commuter. Very solid bike, you will love it. The problem is, I come from a long line of, erm, frugal Yorkshire b####rds going back generations, and I seem to be hardwired as a bit of a skinflint. 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Ninja 650 and Versys Pegged for Recall
Wed, 07 Mar 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall for certain 2012 Ninja 250R and Ninja 650 sportbikes as well as the Versys 650 due to a risk of the passenger footpegs falling off. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the circlips on the footpegs’ mounting pins may break under engine vibrations, potentially leading the footpegs to detach. This poses a potential danger to the passenger.
